PHOTOGRAPHY EXPLORATION

My chosen image is this portrait photo of a Fuji Film polaroid camera, camera case and two ice lattes. This photo was taken at a cafe in Berlin, its atmosphere was ornate and unique which made me want to create this millennial social media styled photo. I enjoy blogger type photos especially ones combining travel and food, the composition and colour tone is indie and stylised which created the effect intended. 

The photo captures light and shadow well since it reveals small details such as the bubbles in the foam on the latte and thread stitches on the camera case. The colours of the objects blend well with the overall tone of the photo since the pastel colours stand out gently against the dark surroundings. What makes the photo portray realistic travel and sense of interaction is that one of the drinks has been started so it not untouched and perfect it has a sense of being 'used'. 

It could be changed through making a greater depth and making the outside seating area blurred to give more focus on the objects on the table. The focus of the objects is sitting diagonally since your eyes take you from one object to another. The photo may flow more easily to the eye if the saucers were taken away since it makes it look slightly too crowded for the shot.
